Report Student Absence

If your child is absent from school for any reason, it is crucial that you inform St Mary Magdalene’s School before 9am on the day they are absent.

There are other absences that are required to be notified to the school.

Late arrivals

If your child arrives late (after 8.50am) they should report to the Front Office directly where they will receive a Late Card to present to their class teacher.

Leaving during the school day

Students are not permitted to leave the school grounds during school hours. If you wish your child to do so, it is expected that this is communicated with your child’s teacher in advance. When collecting your child, please arrive at the Front Office.

Extended absences

We discourage families from extended absences during the school term. In the event that this happens, we ask that you contact our Principal in writing.
